Our Goal

Our goal is simple, to help share the love among families through food, we can all remember sitting around the dinner table, sharing stories, which became family cherished memories. At Taste of America: History and Flavors, our name says it all. We want to share our history through the flavors we enjoy and pass those down from one generation to the next. Is America's Cookbooks Part of a Restaurant?

No, we are a part of the America 250th Commission in NC. We are collecting recipes from around the nation to help showcase and celebrate our nation's 250th Independence.

How Many Recipes are you collecting?

We hope to collect at least 125 recipes...

What types of Recipes are you collecting?

For the Cherished Family Recipes section, we plan to have the following categories:

Appetizers
Soups, Stews, and Salads
Vegetables and side Dishes
Main Dishes
Seafood
Sauces
Desserts
- Cakes and Frostings
- Pies and Cookies
Plus, Wine and Beverage Parings

What Formats will the Book be Offered in

Hardcover - Featured Recipes
Paperback - Special Edition
eBook - for Featured and Special Edition versions

Does it Cost me Anything to be included in this Cookbook?

No, there is No cost to you. Both the "How to Write a Recipe" and being Included in the "Taste of America, History & Flavors Cookbook" are FREE to you.

Will All Recipes Submitted be Included?

All recipes meeting the guidelines set-forth in "How to Write a Recipe", are expected to be published, either in the Hardcover Featured Recipes version, Paperback Special Edition version, and/or eBook version.

Why Must a log-In to Access the Free Five Step Book?

So that we know how to estimate the number of recipes that may be submitted, we ask users to log-in to download the book. We don't sell this information, it is strictly used to help estimate the numbers and communicate with users should we have a deadline approaching. You can opt out at anytime.
